A career-defining role for a talented Research & Development Engineer to join an OEM designing the next generation of analytical instruments.Based in a brand-new R+D laboratory in Scotland, you will lead and inspire a team of 25 Engineers across several disciplines (electronics, mechanics, software) whilst designing and developing the next generation of chromatography instruments. You will beresponsible for the entire laboratory & ongoing projects alongside line management of staff both onsite and remotely. You will liaise closely with customers to understand their requirements and present at trade shows and user seminars.You must bring a solid background in gas chromatography, liquid chromatography &/or mass spectrometry and understand customer requirements within this competitive market. Experienced in either engineering, physics, chemistry, biochemistry or similar, aswell as instrument design and the ability to work experimentally is essential. As is proven experience in delivering a competitive instrument within a reasonable time scale and budget.This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career and create a reputation within the industry.
