Job Description

Financial Crime Manager / SME Competitive salary & BenefitsAn exciting opportunity for a Financial Crime SME / Manager to take up a permanent position in Edinburgh.This is an excellent opportunity to support the business in providing SME Financial Crime advice specifically across Sanctions, AML and external fraud.Responsibilities

  • Owning, maintaining & evolving AML, Sanctions and External Fraud related strategies and control frameworks for all products and delivery channels
  • Delivering and updating the annual Financial Crime risk assessment
  • Delivering the annual Financial Crime Training needs analysis and subsequent training plan
  • Providing technical SME input to Financial Crime related projects and initiatives
  • Providing Technical support for material Financial crime related, issues and incidents
  • ExperienceThe successful candidate will hold a relevant Financial Crime Diploma / Qualification and possess significant Financial Crime advisory experience within the banking / financial services sector.
  • Proven track record of working in flexible environment
  • Experience of proactively providing SME input & delivery of project deliverables
  • Excellent understanding of current legal, regulatory and industry best practice in relation to: AML, Sanctions and External Fraud
  • Sound Commercial awareness
  • Excellent Communication and strong stakeholder engagement skills
  • Problem solving skills and proven ability to Influence and negotiate
