Job Description

Field Service Engineer - Biomass & Commercial Gas Boilers Job Title: Field Service Engineer - Biomass & Commercial Gas BoilersIndustry Sector: Main Contractors, Sub Contractors, House builders, Local Authorities, Social Construction, Commercial Construction, Servicing Engineer, Boilers, Commercial Gas Boiler, Biomass Boiler, Field Technician, Technician, Field Engineer, TechnicalEngineer, Biomass EngineerArea to be covered: ScotlandRemuneration: £30,000 - £40,000 + Flat Rate OvertimeBenefits: Van (Ford Transit or similar) + Fuel CardThe role of the Field Service Engineer - Biomass & Commercial Gas Boilers will involve:

  • Field Service Engineer position promoting the servicing, testing, inspection, repairs and installation of Biomass & Commercial Gas Boilers
  • Field based role working on site
  • Dealing with main contractors and plumbing & heating contractors
  • Holding accountability for all aspects of your van stock, safety equipment and training
  • From time to time working outside of geographical region to provide sickness, holiday and workload cover
  • Working competently whilst unsupervised and ensuring the job is completed before leaving site
  • Possessing the ability to deliver excellent customer service when on site
The ideal applicant will be a Field Service Engineer - Biomass & Commercial Gas Boilerswith:
  • Must have a minimum of 1 years’ experience with installing, servicing & repairing biomass boilers
  • Ideally will have experience in the gas boiler market sector
  • Support engineers rota schedule, for a reliable out of hours service
  • Technically astute
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • A highly motivated individual, who is flexible and has an excellent work ethic
  • Must hold full UK driving licence
