Pertemps are recruiting for an Events Coordinator to work with an established Public Sector organisation on a temporary assignment for 6 week initially, however there may be opportunity to be made into a permanent post. Due to the nature of this role therewill be a requirement to work 5 days over 7 that will involve evening and weekend working on a regular basisRole: Events CoordinatorAssignment: Immediate start -6/8 week assignmentHours: 37hrs per week, 5 days outPay: £14.89 per hourThe RoleThe role holder will take full responsibility for the running of events including conferences, dinners, weddings and other functions both internal and external. The Function & Events Coordinator is part of the Accommodation, Conference & Events office whichprovides a comprehensive point of contact in the planning and organising of events. The role will also be involved in the delivery of summer language schools.The Function& Events Coordinator also takes full management responsibility and control during the delivery of each on campus event.University both internal and external in the planning, organising and delivery of events.Experience Required- Exceptional communication skills, together with experience of communicating with others at all levels.- Previous events planning experience desirable- High levels of attention to detail & organisational skills.- First class Customer Care skills.- IT skills including Microsoft Office and Outlook and conferencing booking software.- Committed to delivering the highest levels of customer service- Proactive, "can do" attitude- UK driving licenceThis role is for immediate start.
