Job Description

My client is a leading R&D and manufacturing company providing a range of products and services for the medical industry. They have a global reach, and will continue to advance and develop in the immediate future.Due to continued and sustained growth within the company, there is the rare opportunity for an experienced Electronics Engineer to join their site in Fife. This is easily commutable from the majority of the central belt including the outskirts of Glasgow,Falkirk, Stirling, West Lothian and Edinburgh. Dundee and Perth are also within an easy reach. This is a Hybrid working position.The successful Electronics Engineer will interpret briefs, provide cost and time estimates, test systems and develop electronic products. You should be focused on developing your design work from concept through to prototype to implementation and then manufacture.This is a fantastic opportunity to join a company that is making unbelievable advances in their respective field. There will be a great level of autonomy in this role, and you will have the real chance for rapid development.Responsibilities:

  • Designing and prototyping new electronics designs
  • Taking designs from concept through to manufacture
  • Developing effective maintenance, testing, and quality control procedures suitable for delivering systems in an ISO13485 environment
  • Testing and updating electronic systems, components, equipment, and software
  • Liaising with our other engineers to ensure quality projects are completed to specifications and on time
  • Observing existing processes and making recommendations for improvement
  • Showing initiative and keeping up with advancements in electronics
  • Monitoring processes, systems and punctually identifying problems
Education / Experienced required:
  • Degree in engineering or similar
  • Practical experience with modern electronic design software
  • 5 years experience developing electronic systems
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent research and interpersonal skills
