Essentials Behaviour Standard.pdf Customer Accounts Advisor.pdfConditions of Service Grades 6-13.pdfWe are looking for a friendly, dedicated and detail-oriented Customer Accounts Advisor to join the customer contact team based at Meadowbank Sports Centre.As the face and the voice of Edinburgh Leisure, you will be responsible for:

  • Engaging Customer Communication: Respond promptly and knowledgeably to telephone, email, and web enquiries regarding direct debit payments and accounts.
  • Customer Experiences: Ensure each customer receives high-quality support, leaving them with a meaningful and positive impression of Edinburgh Leisure.
  • Database Maintenance:Keep our member and payment database accurate and up to date, ensuring smooth transactions and customer information management.
  • Price and Membership Updates: Ensure accurate reflection of price changes and membership upgrades in our systems, communicating these changes effectively to customers.
  • Payment Collection: Assist in the collection process for outstanding payments, approaching customers professionally and empathetically.
Our ideal candidate will have:
  • Customer Service Expertise:knowledge ofdirect debits, finance systems, and MS Office.
  • Organizational Skills: a people-focused approach with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Effective Communication:Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of clearly conveying information to diverse customer bases.
  • Problem-Solving Skills:ability to prioritize tasks effectively,making decisive, fair, and consistent decisions.
  • Technical Aptitude: ability to work withIT software and systems, including membership and point of sale systems.
