Led by a forward-thinking leadership team, we work together in multi-disciplinary teams to provide services that arehigh quality and sustainable.With a growing pipeline of new clients and projects, we are undergoing an exciting growth period and looking to expand our services by recruiting a Traffic and Parking Associate who will contribute to and support the growth trajectory. The Associatewill identify and support opportunities for growth and lead on multiple projects with responsibility for financial control, quality, and technical delivery.The position requires those with the capability to develop and run new initiatives and actively pursue opportunities through business development and will involve developing strong relationships with existing and new clients. The role specifically requiresdetailed knowledge and experience of the traffic and parking environment and the ability to develop and initiate schemes from inception through to completion. The day-to-day supervision and management of technical staff and the co-ordination of resources andprojects also forms a key part of the role.Candidates are expected to be currently operating in a similar role or have sufficient, demonstrable overall experience and 7-10 years experience in the specific industry.   • In collaboration with the Regional Leadership Team, contribute to the development and implementation regional action plans;
  • Manage project resources within the business unit, including the supervision and development of multidisciplinary and multi-location teams
  • Promote the professional services offered by Project Centre to clients within the region, and work together with directors and account managers to develop new business opportunities;
  • Contribute to business growth initiatives and support the diversification of the Client base and service offering;
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and develop long-term Client relations;
  • Contribute to regional and national level forums within the service and sector areas;
  • Ensure compliance with the business units financial and performance targets and indicators through the effective monitoring and leadership of people and projects;
  • Contribute to the effective development and management of annual budgets;
  • Ensure compliance with relevant industry legislation and design standards, quality management systems and procedures;
  • Coordinate and participate in small, medium and large scale projects within the regional and across the business;
  • Consistently demonstrate professional behaviours, guide others and ensure the values and culture of Project Centre is embedded in our business unit;
Our ideal candidate will have but not limited to:
  • Bachelors degree in civil engineering or relevant discipline;
  • Membership of professional institution, IEng or working towards CEng status (ICE, CIHT or equivalent)
  • 7-10 years experience delivering relevant technical and professional services within the industry;
  • Team player with ability to lead teams and individuals, work under pressure, and deliver efficient technical services on time and within budget;
  • Ability to identify and resolve problems quickly and efficiently individually and through others
  • Well-developed written and oral communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels;
  • Experience developing and leading opportunity pursuits, business and account management and experience establishing and developing Client relationships;
  • Demonstrable experience of project management including experience of project implementation, change management and value engineering;
