Our client is a well-established and UKAS accredited asbestos company who currently hold a vacancy for an experienced, hardworking, and dedicated Asbestos Surveyor/Analyst to join their successful team based in and around the Edinburgh area. They are lookingfor an individual who holds the P402/3/4 with extensive experience carrying out asbestos surveys and analytical duties on a range of site types. Applications from Glasgow, Paisley, Cumbernauld, and the surrounding areas will be considered. Qualifications & Experience:Must hold the P402/P403/P404 asbestos certificates or the equivalent RSPH qualification.Experience in asbestos surveying and air-monitoring/air-testing.Must have effective communication skills. Competent IT skills including experience using Microsoft office applications. A strong working knowledge of asbestos health & safety procedures. Responsibilities of the Role: Will carry out asbestos 4 stage clearances, smoke, background, leak reassurance, visual, re-occupation and personal air testing.Undertake Management & Refurbishment/Demolition surveys on various properties including commercial and industrial.Supervising contractors on site ensuring compliance with asbestos health and safety procedures and legislation. Produce comprehensive and accurate reports.
