Job Description

Pertemps are recruiting for an Administrator to work on an assignment at our well-known Public-Sector client based in Edinburgh.£12.83p/hASAP - June 202337 hours per weekBased Edinburgh office basedBasic Disclosure required - if successfulTo provide an effective People administration and advice service to all employees to ensure they receive the support they require to meet the strategic aims and objectives of the organisation.The main duties would be:

  • Provide support for the People Partners across the range of People duties, to ensure that managers and staff have the advice and information they require to enable them to meet the strategic aims and objectives of the organisation.
  • Support managers with the recruitment process, including participation in selection events, ensuring that the process is undertaken effectively
  • Respond to queries on People policies and procedures from internal and external customers, providing timely, accurate responses, and escalating where appropriate.
  • Provide 1st line advice and guidance on a wide range of employment related issues, such as, maternity & paternity etc, flexible working and attendance management. Including attending some meetings and minute taking
  • Respond to basic internal queries on the use of the Cascade HR & Payroll system.
Essential:
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing, with colleagues, clients, and external agencies
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
  • Strong IT skills Word/Excel
  • Attention to detail
