Reed Education are seeking an Enthusiastic School Caretaker to work in an outstanding primary school in the Rossendale area.The Governors of the school are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, dependable, and adaptable site supervisor who will contribute to ensuring the school environment is safe. The post involves acting as the main key-holder, opening and closing of the schooldaily, daily site checks and keeping the outdoor areas clean, tidy and safe, Low level maintenance around school.The hours of duty will be:

• 25 hours - split shift of 7am to 9am and 3pm to 6pm each day (Negotiable) and includes some duties during the school holidays. The hourly rate is £11.19phThe applicant needs to be;
• Flexible.
• Enthusiastic.
• Have good communication skills.
• Be able to work as part of a team.
• Willing to undertake relevant training.An understanding of the needs of a school and Primary age children is also expected. You must be able to maintain confidentially and undertake routine duties on different floor levels.The successful applicant must be able to have effective time management and organisational skills and use their own initiative while still being able to take direction from the line manager.
