Job Description

Job Title: One-to-One Learning Support AssistantCompany: Tradewind RecruitmentLocation: St. Helens, UKPosition Type: Full-time, Long-term Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking a dedicated One-to-One Learning Support Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support to a child with autism in a mainstream primaryschool located in St. Helens.Responsibilities:

Provide one-to-one support to the child with autism in various academic and non-academic activities.
Assist in implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behaviour management strategies.
Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to ensure the childs needs are met effectively.
Maintain regular communication with parents and guardians regarding the childs progress and development.

Requirements:

Experience working with children with autism or special educational needs.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
Must be available and able to commit to the role until December 2024.
Relevant qualifications in education, psychology, or related fields are desirable but not essential.
