SCCS Survey Equipment Ltd is currently looking for a Warehouse Operative – Goods In join our team in Eaton Socon. We are a progressive company supplying survey solutions to civil engineering, construction and land surveying industries. We specialise in bringing innovative technology to market including the most advanced GNSS, mobile mapping, 3D laser scanners, UAV’S and total station solutions available to geospatial professionals.Purpose of the Warehouse Operative – Goods In role:You will mainly (but not exclusively) be based in goods in, stock replenishment and as well as monthly stock counts. You will work as a part of a small team in the movement of goods inwards and outward bound. You will liaise with purchasing and sales team daily to ensure that goods are sent out on time.Key responsibilities as our Warehouse Operative – Goods In will include:- Involvement in New Stock, Stock Movement and Sale returns and exchanges- Loading and off-loading vehicles- Checking of delivery notes, and data recording as required- Updating systems (Sage) with deliveries received- Allocating stock in relevant department- Liaising with Warehouse staff- Locating stock to the relevant locations- Liaising with Purchasing & Sales on a daily basis of deliveries- Picking and checking new stock items before dispatch- Ensuring all Stock moves are entered onto the database- Ensuring health & safety codes of practice and legislation are adhered, following company quality standards- Specialist cleaning of products when returned from customers- Keeping Stores Neat and Tidy, storage of cardboard etc.What we’re looking for in our Warehouse Operative – Goods In: - Attention to detail- Good presentation skills- Initiative and common sense- Ability to work as part of a team- Previous experience in Loading and off-loading vehicles in a safe and timely mannerTo join us as our Warehouse Operative – Goods In please click ‘apply’ today – we’d love to hear from you!
