SCCS Survey Equipment Ltd is currently looking for a Repairs Service Administratorto join our team based in our Eaton Socon Head Office. You will join us on a full time, fixed term contract (9-12 months) covering maternity and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of Circa of £25,000 per annum.SCCS are a Leica Geosystems UK dealer and part of the Hexagon group. We are a progressive company supplying survey solutions to civil engineering, construction and land surveying industries. We specialise in bringing innovative technology to market including the most advanced GNSS, mobile mapping, 3D laser scanners, UAV’S and total station solutions available to geospatial professionals.The role: You will take bookings from customers sending in their instruments for calibration, servicing and repair. Sending quotations to customers for approval, liaising with the workshop/ warehouse and external repair companies to co-ordinate repairs ensuring we turn them around in a timely manner.Key Responsibilities as our Repairs Service Administrator will include:- Taking bookings from customers for repair and service of instruments- Booking customer & SCCS hire instruments into the repair system ready for works to be undertaken- Liaising with customers, workshop, and external repairers regarding instrument repairs and service, including customer quotations- Arranging & processing of repair collection and delivery paperwork, sage sales orders and repair returns paperwork- Arranging & processing dispatch paperwork for instruments needing external repair- Monthly preparation of repair and service work outstanding and repair and service work completed, both customer and hire instrumentsSecondary Function:- General repair enquiries support- Customer repair aftercare where required- Chasing up aged repairs for approval- Daily physical check of repairs awaiting repair and awaiting dispatch- Assistance with telephone enquiries- Any other ad hoc duties or project reasonably required of the employeeCharacteristics / Skills we are looking for in our Repairs Service Administrator:- Well organized- Good communication skills on all levels of management and team skills- Attention to detail is key- Focused, self-motivation approach- Confident telephone mannerDesirable experience we are looking for in our Repairs Service Administrator:- Computer literate in Microsoft packages: Word, Excel and Outlook skills- Sage, although training would be provided- Customer service experience- Experience in administrationTo join us as our Repairs Service Administratorplease click ‘apply’ today – we’d love to hear from you!
