Job Description

  • Main Purpose of the jobTo offer a high level of sales and customer service, process orders accurately and to address sales enquires in order to ensure customers receive the correct goods, in time, at the agreed price. To update records with relevant customer detail and activity and to maintain the sales mailbox in addition to encouraging new business.Responsibilities and Duties
  • Maintain regular contact with customer and maximize sales opportunities through inbound/outbound calls.
  • Respond promptly to all enquiries in the sales inbox.
  • Ensure all orders are processed promptly and customers kept informed at all stages of the process.
  • Obtain proof of delivery as required and investigate any returns or delays.
  • Assist in part creation and obtaining product details.
  • Keep filing up to date and carry out general office administration.
  • Assist in the maintenance of stock levels to ensure we can meet demand within agreed notice periods by obtaining customer forecasts.
  • Provide customers with information requested by them regarding stock and orders.
  • Maintain good relations with customers to ensure the company remains the preferred supplier.
  • Provide technical assistance to customers as required.
  • Work in conjunction and support the externals sales team to provide good levels of customer service and quotations.
  • Be pro-active and follow up enquiries, quotations and sales leads with customers.
  • To maintain the company CRM (Salesforce) with the required customer information.
  • Develop an understanding of the range of products offered by our client.
  • To carry out any such other duties that may reasonably be requested of you.
  • Experience, skills and qualities
  • A minimum of 1 year in an internal sales role
  • Excellent telephone skills &Good interpersonal skills
  • Working knowledge of excel, word, outlook
  • Awareness of a CRM system preferred
  • Technical awareness preferable but not essential
