SCCS Survey Equipment Ltd is currently looking for a Delivery Driver to support SCCS to ensure delivery / collection and exchange of Hire and Sale items to customers and sites across the UK. You will join us on a full time, temporary basis and in return, our Delivery Driver will receive a competitive salary of £21,958.00 per annum.SCCS are a Leica Geosystems UK dealer and part of the Hexagon group. We are a progressive company supplying survey solutions to civil engineering, construction and land surveying industries. We specialise in bringing innovative technology to market including the most advanced GNSS, mobile mapping, 3D laser scanners, UAV’S and total station solutions available to geospatial professionals.Key responsibilities as our Delivery Driver will include:- Carrying out planned day/route in an efficient and timely manner- Ensuring that all kit for the day is present and loaded into the vehicle in line with the companies “Manual Handling Activities on site” risk assessment- Ensuring your vehicle is roadworthy by carrying out daily checks, together with its equipment and fittings- Ensuring the vehicle is clean and well looked after- Being smartly presented and polite to all customers as a representation of SCCS- Maintaining the upkeep of staff uniform and PPE- Ensuring driving is within the regulations as set out in the Highway Code and SCCS Drivers Handbook- Following all site/customer regulations as required- Completing all paperwork and return to H/O for processing- Ensuring all expenses are completed within the necessary time frames- Ensuring all additional training is completed as requested by the Fleet Manager & Customer re: site visitsWhat we’re looking for in our Delivery Driver: - No driving disqualifications within the last 5 years- No more than 3 points currently on your driving license- Attention to detail- Good presentation skills- Initiative and common sense- Ability to work as part of a teamTo join us as our Delivery Driver please click ‘apply’ today – we’d love to hear from you!
