SCCS Survey Equipment Ltd is currently looking for a Credit Controller tojoin our team based in St Neots. You will join us on a full-time, permanent basis, and in return, you will receive a competitive salary.SCCS are a Leica Geosystems UK dealer and part of the Hexagon group. We are a progressive company supplying survey solutions to civil engineering, construction and land surveying industries. We specialise in bringing innovative technology to market including the most advanced GNSS, mobile mapping, 3D laser scanners, UAV’S and total station solutions available to geospatial professionals.About the Credit Controller role:You will be responsible for managing customer accounts and have direct communication with customers chasing payment and resolving payment issues.Your responsibilities as our Credit Controller include:- Chasing debt beyond agreed terms- Building relationships with customers to facilitate prompt payment- Controlling customers credit in line with Company policy- Ensuring the sales team are notified of query and payment issues- Maintaining the invoice query and credit note register- Liaising internally and externally to ensure queries have been resolved in a timely manner- Preparing and despatching monthly statements to customers- Resolving any customer queries involving the operations department where necessary- Updating master records to ensure the customer contact details are correct- Issuing chasing letters for overdue accounts and in line with company policy- Instigating legal action (after obtaining internal approval) if required, in conjunction with professional resource- Producing weekly and monthly debtor reports- Processing online card payments- Answering and dealing with phone queries- Ad-hoc duties including copying invoices, POD’s and providing holiday cover for Accounts receivableWhat we’re looking for in our Credit Controller:- Working Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)- Strong communication and interpersonal skills- Self-motivator, able to operate remotely and upon own initiative- Positive and enthusiastic with an exceptional work ethic to deliver results- High level of organisational skills, planning, preparation, execution and follow up- Minimum of 2 years experience in a credit control function- Educated to GCSE A-C or equivalent- Sage accounts experience is preferableTo join us as our Credit Controller, please click ‘apply’ today – we’d love to hear from you!
