Job Description

Our client is a leading wallcoverings manufacturer based in Congleton. Having recently undertaken a site relocation that has seen significant investment from the owners, the company is now looking to recruit additional Production Operatives to strengthen the current team and increase production capacity.Gravure Printers, Colour Mixers, Emboss Operators, Finishing Operators & Ancillary roles£21,100 to £25,200 (depending on skill set)About the roleWorking within the Production Department these roles will be responsible for producing wallpaper and inks to agreed specifications, procedures and timescales as well as supporting the wider production team.These are permanent roles working 12-hour shifts (36 hours a week). Shifts run days and nights over 6 days a week on a 4-week rotating shift pattern (working 3 days per week).Who we are looking forThis role would be ideal for someone that has previous work experience in a similar role working with gravure printing machinery (other printing experience will be considered)

It requires an excellent eye for detail, the ability to work under pressure and as part of a team.

Any formal qualification in Printing or Colour Mixing would be advantageous (for Printing/Colour Mixer roles only).

Ancillary roles require experience working within a manufacturing environment and the ability to work well as a team.

Finishing roles are ideal for anyone who has any previous experience working in a packing/finishing department within a manufacturing environment

Previous training using PPT would also be an advantage.
