Job Description

Reed Finance are working with an SME organisation in East Bristol recruiting for a Finance Manager to join their friendly team.Reporting directly into a lovely Managing Director..Salary & Benefits

  • £45-55K dependent on experience
  • Pension scheme – match up to 8%
  • 25 days holiday +bank holidays
  • Profit based bonus scheme at Christmas (Approx 2K p/annum)

The Role The production of the monthly management accounts, year-end accounts with auditors, other reporting and process requirements and general assistance to the Managing Director.Key Responsibilities
  • Daily reconciliation of the bank accounts
  • Control and reconciliation of the petty cash
  • Processing of the Wages (fortnightly) and Salaries (monthly)
  • Pensions monthly submission
  • HMRC reporting (EC Sales, Intrastats, Paye, VAT, P11D, P60)
  • Process monthly accruals and prepayments
  • Maintain the fixed asset register and process monthly depreciation journals
  • Process the monthly journals
  • Preparation of month end accounts for submission to the MD, then head office (P+L / BS / WC / CapEX / 3 Month Sales FC)
  • Preparation of year end accounts, compliance with external full audit at year end
  • Preparation of budgets
  • Involvement in any projects for the business (i.e. tenders)
