Job Description

We are a healthcare provider that specialises in personalised care for people with brain injuries. We are looking for additional Support Workers in the East Compton Area. If youre reliable, empathetic, patient and have good communication skills we want to hear from you.About the ClientYou will be working to support a individual living within the their own home. You will be support/prompting him with all aspects of his daily routine, which will include personal care, medication and his rehabilitation programme. The individual has a Brain Injury, has fatigue and requires motivating to complete tasks.The right candidates must be proactive to make a difference to this individuals life, to encourage development and see them grow to their full potential of their rehabilitation programme. The support worker to prompt tasks and ensure safety with accessing the community.The support worker to be prepared to accomany the individual on holidays, this will be paid for the full 24 hours, which will include sleep nights.The support hours are: Wednesdays: 09:00 - 16:00 / Thursdays: 08:30 - 18:30 / Fridays: 08:30 - 18:30 / Saturdays : 09:00-16:00 (alternate)Pay rates: £9.00 - £10.00 PHWe offer :* Free enhanced DBS check* Paid Induction Training (Care Certificate)* Paid Clinical Training* 25 days of paid annual holiday* 24/7 contact with the office staff* Regular supervisions and appraisals.We are a very receptive team with an open-door policy, and our aim is to ensure that you feel safe and happy doing your job.
