Job Description

This is a key position working within our Digital & Change teams where successful candidates will support and drive forward the continuous delivery of high quality software and infrastructure changes across our systems and platforms.This is a fantastic opportunity for Test Engineers who would like to progress and move further into an Automation focussed role.The role will give you the opportunity to contribute with the following

  • Design and execution of testing scenarios, both automated and manual
  • Supports test lead in identification of problem areas, suggesting, reviewing and implementing corrective actions
  • Analyse our test scripts ensuring they are offering the best reliability and results, writing new scripts where necessary
  • Proactive collaboration between all members of the delivery teams to gain common understanding
  • Share knowledge and support in the identification and reviews of new and emerging tools to drive our testing function forward
  • Provide training and mentor junior testers to the best practices of automation testing
    • To be successful in the role you will need the followingIdeally a minimum of 3 years experience working in an IT testing roleExposure to some of the following technologies
  • Selenium ID/Webdriver/GRID
  • Any other recognised automation test tool
  • Appium/Calabash
  • Soap UI
  • ALM, JIRA or equivalent
  • BDD and or TDD
  • Experience in creating test approach, test design and execution (manual and automated) for small to medium size initiatives
