Job Description

Investigations Analyst / East Sussex / AnalyticsClient DetailsA well respected East Sussex based employer is looking to recruit Investigations Analysts on a permanent basis.DescriptionAs Investigations Analyst you will be responsible for:

  • You will conduct analysis, identifying and using appropriate analytical tools and techniques to interpret and identify gaps, themes and trends and to identify emerging risk.
  • You will make recommendations in support of decision making and provide early warning of emerging issues.
  • You will develop and maintain relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, enabling the sharing of intelligence and analytical findings.
  • You will promote the benefits of intelligence analysis and progress the continuous improvement of the team.
  • You will produce and deliver analytical findings in a variety of formats to a range of stakeholders.
  • You will adhere to all legal frameworks, key working principles and relevant policy and guidance.
  • You will seek to identify best practice and innovations that will assist in developing the capabilities and service of the team.
Profile
  • Knowledge of the principles of the National Intelligence Model
  • Capacity and willingness to obtain national Intelligence Analyst accreditation
  • Experience and knowledge in utilising analytical tools, techniques and methodologies to gather, receive, analyse, evaluate, develop and disseminate intelligence
  • Experience in delivering high quality intelligence products and services that identify intelligence gaps, make recommendations and influence decision making
  • Strong planning, prioritisation and co-ordination skills to manage competing demands and ensure timely delivery of products and services
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and experience in negotiating and engaging effectively with internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience of handling sensitive information in line with legal and procedural requirements
  • Use of specialist analytical methodologies and tools, such as Analyst Notebook and iBase
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation including the Investigatory Powers Act, Humans Right Act, and Data Protection Regulations
Job Offer£34-40,000 plus excellent benefits
