Job description Were looking for an HR Apprentice to join the Vetting & Compliance team at Talentia Group, based in Easton Morton near Keighley in Yorkshire. This apprenticeship will provide the opportunity to complete a business administration or HR qualification whilston the job. You will be supporting the Vetting & Compliance team to provide administrative support for our contractors and clients to clear new hires for work in contract and placement jobs up and down the UK. This will be based predominantly in the officewith option for some homeworking after completion of probation period. On the job training will be provided by the Vetting and Compliance Manager to grow your knowledge of procedures and all brands within the group.The roleYou will be responsible for: Liaising with clients and candidates, managing and updating company databases, pre-employment checks, building new procedures in various areas of the business to improve efficiency, updating policies and providing advice to management within the business Administrative duties such as maintaining central records and updating reports Pre employment checks Developing and updating policies and procedures Providing support and advice to the business, the MD, the sales team and other support staff where necessary Issuing offer letters, contracts, and any other employment related paperwork Liaise with contractors and clients to manage and meet their expectations Keep up to date with changes business applicable UK legislation You will be encouraged to suggest process changes to improve ways of workingYou should apply if you: Are a college leaver looking to complete a Level 3 Apprenticeship in Business Administration or Human Resources Have an interest in starting a career in Administration and Human Resources Are attentive, able to organise yourself effectively and have a willingness to learn Have excellent written and verbal communication skills Can work on initiativeWhat you get: This role is office-based in our East Morton office near Keighley. The salary on offer is £13,000 rising to £19,000 on successful completion of apprenticeship. You will have 22 days of annual plus bank holidays to take each year. This increases by 1 day for each of service up to a max of 5. You will have the opportunity to complete your Level 3 Apprenticeship in Business Administration or Human Resources, dedicating 20% of your time to this.
