Job Description

ARE YOIU LOOKING FOR AN EXCITING OPPORTUNITY IN FIELD SERVICEMy client is one of Europe’s market leaders in self service kiosk equipment, servicing a variety of different market sectors. They are know for the reliability of their equipment and the high standard of service provided by their engineering staff.Due to an internal promotion they are now seeking an experienced field technician to become a FIELD PROJECT ENGINEER / LEAD ENGINEER to work with the implementation team on upgrades to the existing network, new installations and commissioning of equipment in the field.The main responsibility will be to trial and test procedures with regards to maintaining and upgrading existing hardware in the field, as well as supervising installs, creating and amendingmethod statements and reporting issues on trial installations. This is to ensure that the companys current and future improvement programmes are delivered on time and to customer targets. The role will have a requirement to work UK wide so you will need to be comfortable with staying away from home from time to time as required. Although there will not be a regular requirement to work weekends there may be some weekend work dependant on customer requirements and site access.In order to be considered you will need to demonstrate:

  • A recognised qualification in electrical engineering
  • Previous professional experience in the service and repair of electromechanical/ electronic equipment
  • Proven ability to deal directly with customers in a professional manner
  • Confident in the use of windows based operating systems
  • Understanding of network configuration of IP addressable systems
  • Driving licence with no more than three penalty points
