Job Description

phs Wastekit Area Sales Manager - East Midlandsphs Wastekit is looking for an experienced Area Sales Manager in the East Midlands area covering the NG area and surrounding post codes.As an Area Sales Manager, you’ll play a key part in developing new business in your area. You might be the first person from the phs group that a customer meets so you will set high standards for what customers can expect from us. The core of your role will be to find and convert new customers to phs Wastekit whilst also delivering excellent customer service and value for money to our existing customers.A day in the life of an Area Sales Manager at phs Wastekit will involve;

  • Hunting for new business customers through own lead generation
  • Making and attending customer appointments
  • Negotiating with our diverse customer base
  • Managing existing customer accounts
  • Communicating with internal business colleagues
  • The ideal candidate for an Area Sales Manager at phs Wastekit will have:
  • A talent and successful track record in field based New Business Hunting
  • Experience of selling to service driven businesses
  • The ability to work successfully across multiple markets
  • Tenacity, drive, self-motivation and resilience
  • Experience in a waste, recycling or similar industry (desirable)
  • Experience using CRM (salesforce) and a good level of IT proficiency
