Job Description

About the TeamThe High Court Team sits within the Case Preparation and Presentation (CPP). The High Court Team has responsibility for ensuring that Interim Orders (which are due to expire) are extended at the High Court in a timely manner and in line with hard deadlinesthat are set in advance. The team plays a key role in fulfilling the NMC’s statutory purpose in protecting the public and upholding confidence in the professions. The work itself is to a very high standard, where an eye for detail and timeliness is essential.The work is high risk work, as our applications are exposed before Courts where judicial comments may be made.About the roleAs part of this role, you will providing administrative support in the lodging and service of High Court applications to ensure interim orders do not lapse. You will also Carry out other duties to tight deadlines in accordance with Professional Regulation (PR)standards. About YouWe would like to hear from you if you meet the following criteria:1. Educated at A level or equivalent work experience2. Demonstrable administrative experience3. Excellent quality assurance measures4. Able to work within a tight procedural framework5. Highly developed ability to pay close attention to detail so that work produced is reliable and accurate within a tight deadline6. Time management and organisational skills with the ability to achieve results7. Excellent IT skills with knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Excel
