Job Description

HR Systems Advisor - East LeakeAre you someone who is passionate about Customer service, IT and HRAt Saint-Gobain we are hiring for a HR Systems Advisor to work in our Professional Service team, helping to deliver System support, system maintenance and solution finding.The prime role of the HR Systems Advisor is to act as the first line system support and to receive, log and wherever possible immediately resolve queries. Where queries cannot be resolved, this role is responsible for escalating or progressing to secondline support or to relevant stakeholders as appropriate.This role can be worked on a hybrid basis with 3 office days and 2 home days.What you will be doing:

  • Act as the first point of contact for PeopleSoft queries through multiple communication channels and resolve immediately wherever possible
  • Perform system maintenance activities such as optimization and management of system configuration (security, structure, workflow etc).
  • Take ownership of issues/tasks, conduct robust testing, and resolve where possible; escalate issues as appropriate
  • Able to communicate to all levels of stakeholders within the business
  • Prioritise tasks based on payroll timescales and business demands
RequirementsWhat were looking for:
  • A Level or equivalent education
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Analytical, with an ability to problem solve and investigate issues
  • Be confident with using IT systems, with a good understanding of how systems work
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to advise on system related issues and activity in non-technical language
