Job Description

Are you someone who is passionate about putting customers first, progressing your career, and having varied working days If yes, then this role could be for you!At Saint Gobain we are looking for a customer focused individual to join the Customer Service team in our East Leake offices. Our Customer Service Advisors are skilled in taking and amending orders whether electronic, emailed or over the phone. Acting as thefirst point of contact for queries including stock availability, product information, bespoke orders, plasterboard recycling, account management for specific customers, support with the website, delivery updates and aftersales care resolution.SGIS is one of 30 Saint-Gobain brands, pioneering the use of drylining partitions, wall linings, ceilings and plaster finishes were able to create better buildings and leave a positive legacy of improving peoples lives.What You Will Be DoingOur sites are busy places, with lots going on inside and out, and whilst the exact duties may vary here is a taster of the role.

  • Respond to customer enquiries, process orders and contact customers across multiple businesses using a variety of communication methods.
  • Check the accuracy of orders to minimise the number of credits and customer issues/complaints.
  • Contribute to a continuous improvement culture, identifying opportunities and generating ideas to improve our service.
  • Gather customer insight through the strong relationships you build to trigger business improvements.
  • Show a desire and commitment to develop your own skills and knowledge to perform at your best.
  • Mastering more specialist activities including managing export orders, dealing with bespoke orders, account management, customer care, and supporting our Plasterboard Recycling Scheme
