  • Is proactive in your approach to work, develops key relationships and collaborates
  • Has a key eye for detail and accuracy with a passion for making a difference on a continually developing site
  • Is comfortable working at pace and autonomously
  • Experience of using safety tools, reporting environmental issues and building plans.
  • Knowledge of safety and compliance and experience of using safety tools and reporting environmental issues
  • Is computer literate and has working knowledge of Microsoft packages
  • Experience of internal audit and compliance reporting (is desirable)
  • A safety qualification i.e. IOSH Managing Safely (is desirable)
What will I be doing in the roleThe Site Operations Supervisor is famous for a passionate contribution to the development and management of Gotham site, making it a great place to work. You will coordinate and supervise site activities provided by Contractors and execute the Gotham safety,sustainability and improvement plans. This role is an ideal first step into an operational role and career.
  • Executes the Safety, Environment, Sustainability and Wellbeing plans for Gotham site, covering all British Gypsum and embedded supplier colleagues and working environments to support delivery of our Zero harm target.
  • Responsible for authorising and managing contractors to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Responsible for initial service contract escalations on Bulk Road contracts and transport movements
  • Works closely with the Gotham team to ensure compliance standards and audit process adherence.
  • Supports site change projects to deliver effective management of change and manage stakeholders and risks in order to deliver a successful plan.
