  • Is proactive and communicates effectively with the ability to collaborate and engage all stakeholders
  • Works at pace and is passionate about health, safety, customer service and innovation
  • Experience of working in an open book transport environment.
  • Contractor performance management and setting and negotiating key KPIs
  • Managing teams and able to empower others
  • Certificate of Professional Competence in Road Haulage and a relevant safety qualification is desirable
What will I be doing in the roleThe British Gypsum Network Performance Manager is famous for engaging with our chosen transport provider to implement an agile, safe and cost efficient transport network thats capable of brilliant service recovery. You will seek out improvement opportunitiesto ensure our services continually remains best in class.
  • Supports the creation of a culture where safety is the number 1 priority
  • Is proactive to promote and influence tactical decisions and outcomes to execute a distribution network capable of delivering to our customers and forecast
  • Provides expert insight and understands the cost and service impact or all short term network decisions
  • Ability to quickly identify potential network performance impacts and work with relevant stakeholders for a containment and creation of resolution plans
  • Performance reporting and validation against our company KPIs
  • Ensures the tactical delivery of the network supports our carbon reduction net zero 2050 programme
