Job Description

The portfolio team within BGs head office and central functions is at the heart of the business providing best in class products and systems to customers, promoting their ranges internally and externally and understanding the market dynamics to help shape the future of the offer to the construction market.How will you support usYou will be the champion of the portfolio. Ensuring your product range has the required focus, resource and commitment from the business. Developing and delivering plans that improve the growth and profitability of the range. You will play an integral role in influencing & delivering to the target portfolio strategy and act as deputy to line manager when required.To be suitable for the Marketing Product Manager role you will:

  • Be the product champion giving the portfolio the required focus, resource and gain commitment from the business.
  • Have the ability to demonstrate audit and analysis of portfolio and how this information to shape the portfolios future
  • Show a demonstration of taking ownership of portfolio issues and resolving them
  • Show your marketing mix demonstration and use for driving growth or change
  • Have management of projects and introduction of new products or services to customer

  • 4Ps planning
  • Portfolio management (launching and delisting)
  • New product development or Introduction
  • Marketing analysis (internal and external)
  • Stakeholder management and work across functions with different teams.
  • Experience of managing multiple tasks of work at any one time.
  • Beneficial but not essential Agile or Prince2
