Job Description

UX Expert and StrategistRemote/UK£80k basic + bonus + sharesMy client, one of the largest independent technology and business services firms in the world are looking for an experienced and talented UX expert who enjoys working as a part of a team, with strong practical experience to join them in working on a varietyof engagements across their banking and financial services clients.From public service transformation to cutting-edge commercial projects, the work has a wide reach, helping make the everyday easier, for everyone.As for the future Be a successful part of their story and theyll support you in taking your career anywhere you want it to go.Your future duties and responsibilities:

  • You will help to build key financial services systems, working in a fast-paced, agile environment.
  • You will serve as a strategist and facilitator by leading overall design efforts to align with business and technical objectives and stakeholder expectations, both externally and internally.
  • You will be working within client organisations to identify unmet needs, goals, opportunities and challenges of all departments and aspects of the business.
  • You will have a holistic approach to problem solving, using visualization to find consensus and eventually the right solution in collaboration with the users.
  • You will explain abstract and complex situations in a straight forward, easy to understand way.
  • You will take part in the delivery of user-focused solutions, accessible services and a consistent user experience, enabling users to complete their activities more effectively and efficiently.
  • You will assist in developing a content strategy based on client business objectives and on customer or end user needs.
  • You will be responsible for documenting wire frames, low and high-fidelity user interface designs, using industry standard tools (E.g. Figma, Sketch + Invision, Adobe XD). Ability and experience with working on multiple products, assisting a number of agiledelivery teams, is required.
  • You will also provide mentoring in everything UX-related to their agile delivery teams, such that your knowledge becomes more widespread within their growing business.
  • Agile Coaches to influence and shape the organic growth and future direction of agile in their business unit.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
  • Some experience working in a financial services sector, or experience working with emerging financial technologies
  • Working with cross functional, fast paced product development teams
  • Working with product owners with varying levels of knowledge and exposure to agile
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, facilitation, coaching and mentoring skills
  • Ability to inspect and adapt within a changing environment and welcome opportunities to grow with your team
  • Self-motivated and able to stay focused
  • A strong sense of entrepreneurship, user centricity, and desire to continuously learn and improve
