Tax and Payroll Assistant Job Type: Full Time, Part Time considered.Location: Forest Row, East GrinsteadSalary: £24,000 - £32,000 per annum. (as a guide only; negotiable and commensurate with experience)Hours: 37 hours per weekThe RoleOur client has an exciting opportunity to join their friendly and lively practice located in Forest Row, East Grinstead. The practice boasts a beautiful countryside location on the edge of Ashdown Forest with ample on-site parking. They specialise in assistingowner managed and family business with their financial and taxation affairs and serve a wide variety of clients across the South East.Key Responsibilities

Assisting the Tax Manager with preparation of self-assessment tax returns for individuals, partnerships and trusts.
Assisting the Payroll Manager with running of monthly payrolls, P11d’s and annual processing of P60’s

Skills and Qualifications

Will have some experience working in practice, preparing self-assessment tax returns and/or running monthly payroll.
Candidates with tax or accounting qualifications (qualified or part qualified) will be preferred, however practical experience is most important and candidates who are qualified by experience should apply
