Job Description

Lloyd Recruitment Services is partnering with a reputable business in East Grinstead, actively seeking a proactive Assistant Project Manager specialising in Commercial Construction. This role is offered on a full-time permanent basis. About the Role: As the Assistant Project Manager, you will play a vital role in supporting the Senior Project Manager in the successful delivery of commercial construction projects. Your responsibilities will include project coordination, site audits, collaborationwith subcontractors, and managing logistics for material and equipment deliveries/collections. Whats in it for You

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide essential support to the Senior Project Manager
  • Coordinate and manage commercial construction projects
  • Conduct site audits and ensure compliance with project requirements
  • Collaborate with subcontractors for seamless project execution
  • Manage logistics of material and equipment deliveries/collections
  • Forecast and communicate equipment needs for effective inventory control
  • Collate project documentation and manuals post-completion
  • Liaise with the Service & Maintenance department for engineer bookings
  • Oversee the offsite stock facility, tracking inventory, and coordinating deliveries and collections
  • Coordinate project-specific Risk Assessments, ensuring effective communication with stakeholders
Experience and Skills Required:
  • Proven experience in a project management role within commercial construction
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Knowledge of project management processes
  • Familiarity with H&S legislation and regulations
  • Basic bookkeeping knowledge
