The role will suit an experienced Operations/Production Supervisor with 3+ years experience but who is keento take on more responsibility and has a positive can do attitude.Brief Job DescriptionTo implement, manage and control all Operational functions within the businessResponsible for total supply chain from sourcing and procurement through to delivery and despatch.To ensure that all procedures are followed and documentation is adhered to.Main Duties & Responsibilities include but are not limited to:To be responsible for purchasing all component parts and packaging in line with budget expectationsTo assume overall responsibility for UBP production and quality department - safety, efficiency, performance, stock control, adherence to all proceduresTo be responsible for stock accuracy within UBPTo compile, instigate and manage process control documents and procedures to meet new legislation in all UBP areas, in order to gain necessary accreditationTo source new products and vendors in line with business margin and time expectationsTo manage the total supply chain of stocks throughout the product life cycle - from procurement to exit planTo resource products where required to meet budgeted margin and stock targetsTo manage all vendors in line with company strategyTo be responsible for correct system data, including pricing and BOMsTo work with Finance Dept. ensuring all vendor payments are managed in timely fashion to maintain supply chainTo manage product costing, inclusive of BOM, freight & Labour costings, for all new and existing products to budgeted marginTo track and manage customer complaints and resolve underlying issuesTo be responsible for day-to-day office management - H&S, absence cover, issues arising, stationeryResponsible for creation of training manual and manage staff training on Microsoft Dynamics, & F&OCreation, updating and management of all customer and supplier trade agreementsKey Projects at presentThere will be ongoing projects and new projects arise that the business would require you to take ownership and accountability for. The current projects include but are not limited to;Establishing and recording Bill of Materials, Purchase Prices, cost of good inclusive of labour costs, freight charges & InventoryCreation and management of supplier and customer trade agreementsUpdating all systems to ensure accurate inventory and safety stock proceduresDeveloping, implementing and overseeing SOPsAbout you5+ years of experience in the operations / supply chain planning
