We are looking forimmediately available SEN teaching and support assistants(SENTAs) for a special needs primary school based in Ealing, West London.The school would require SEN TAs from 08:30am - 3:45pm Mondays to Fridaystill the end of the academic year as a minimum to cover sickness and absences across classes in the school.With the school located between Greenford and Sudbury Hillwe would need local staff who are readily available and confident supporting children with special educational needs.The school has two sites forpupils across Early Years to KS2 with autism, severe learning difficulties and physical disabilities. Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistants will work with pupils 1:1 or 2:1 basis in classes supportingwith learning, social, physical and personal development skills. This will include interactive academic activities involving play, songs, dance and games along with therapeutic activities such as speech therapy, occupational therapy and physiotherapy.With all children in the school having a diagnosis of a special needs applicants will need to be open to supporting children with personal care and/or moving and handling.Having additional experience with PECS, Makaton, Attention Autism, TEACCH or Team Teach will be highly beneficial but is not essential.Pay:£70-80 per day (negotiable dependant on experience)Location:Ealing, West London - accessible from Greenford Station and Sudbury Hill or on local busesHours:08:30am03:45pm Mondays to FridaysDuration:till 23rd July 2021 minimally with potential of continuing in September 2021 with additional hoursPupil Needs:Autism (ASC), severe learning difficulties (SLD), sensory needs, speech and language (SLCN) and Physical Disabilities (PMLD)Pupil Ages:4-11 years oldIf you think you would be a great match for this role apply and send your up-to-date CV toAll applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
