Hygiene Manager 8 hour Day shift£40,000Greater LondonAs the Hygiene Manager you will have a proven track record in leadership and management within a food or FMCG environment. Key competencies - Chilled foods, High risk, Knowledge of BRC Audits and Retail standards . A proven track record of hygiene standardsand practices is essentialThe RoleThe responsibilities Hygiene Manager will include total responsibility of the hygiene team on each shift, up to 17 hygiene team members. You will be responsible for ensuring all support activities on the night shift i.e planning cleaning / hygiene and maintenanceare executed.·Mentoring/motivating of the Hygiene team ·Ensure all sanitation is carried out to the highest standard ·Hygiene standards and house keeping are adhered to ·Audit feedback and swab results to be monitored ·Ensure detailed work instructions along with the relevant actives and verification check are available for the team to access ·Ensure that any machinery damaged by the cleaning crew is reported and investigated to ensure the business can get to the root cause of the issues.Strong man-management skills will be required to drive complete execution of the hygiene team this will include direct and in direct management through team leaders.
