Job Description

The CompanyMy client, a multi-disciplinary Consultancy who specialise in the residential, commercial, rural and development sectors, is looking for an ambitious Town Planner to join the team.They are a regional Property Consultancy who operate across seven offices in the Northern counties. It is their wide scope of services; client focus and flexibility of regional business that makes my them successful and attractive. The successful candidatewill have an excellent opportunity gain knowledge from sector leading professionals, to progress their career and work on exciting projects.The Position as a Town PlannerThe position as a Town Planner is for a proactive individual. The successful candidate will have a full or licentiate membership with the RTPI, and relevant consultancy experience. As a Town Planner, you will be meaningfully engaged in conducting researchand site appraisals, prepare, submit and negotiate planning applications and Listed Building consents, responding to development plan consultations, and be confident working independently, as well as integrate with the multi-disciplinary team.Essential Criteria for the candidate as a Town Planner

  • RTPI accredited town planning degree or relevant
  • Previous relevant experience.
  • Have good communication and an enthusiastic mentality
  • Be IT proficient and confident working with plans and maps.
