Co-ordinator required for a new role with a regional social housing provider. This is to be based in Durham with projects from Northumberland to Teesside.The RoleThis role is to work within a retrofit team. Retrofit refers to any improvement work on an existing building to improve its energy efficiency, making them easier to heat, able to retain that heat for longer, and replacing fossil fuels with renewable energy.You will support the delivery of the Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund, aimed at improving tenants’ energy efficiency and comfort. You will do this by ensuring effective contract administration and monitoring of the contract.This will require you to ensure effective tenant and stakeholder engagement strategies are in place and effectively managed in accordance with SAP2035 responsibilities, so that tenants understand their individual retrofit measures. Additionally, you willpromote strategies relating to the improvement of the energy efficiency of the organisation’s asset portfolio, maximising grant opportunities and ensuring that ‘grant draw down’ milestones are achieved in a timely manner.Full-time, 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Annual salary and benefits circa £36,786 including car allowance.
