    • Durham County Council requires Social Workers for Families First. They currently have vacancies in hubs right across the county including Spennymoor, Bishop Auckland and Newton Aycliffe. Although due to the current situation you will be working from home, you will still be required to make some visits within your area.The successful candidate will be dealing with referrals from first contact of a safeguarding nature right through to the end of proceedings, including high level CIN, CP and LAC.The council ideally are looking for full time social workers; however they can at times be flexible. The rate of pay for this role is up to £29 per hour, depending on experience.Interested candidates should have:
  • SWE registration
  • DBS on the update service, or be willing to acquire one
  • References that cover 5 years
