Semi-Skilled Construction Operative Location: Belmont Business Park, DurhamPermanent, Full time (37.5 hpw)Salary circa £26,000 pa, negotiable based on skills and experience, plus great Benefits!Delivering on our Customer Promisethats when it hits homeWe have a fabulous job opportunity for you to join our brand-new Repairs and Maintenance team as our Semi-Skilled Construction Operative. Youll be responsible for supporting the maintenance teams and will undertake various semi-skilled duties. Youll providesupport for other trades and collect general building items for disposal or storage. All jobs will be carried out with a right first time culture. Also, all aspects of the semi-skilled duties will be undertaken with an approach to completing the whole job and supporting repairs and maintenance colleagues. Youll have experience and knowledge of building construction components and activities carried out by building trades in a construction environment. With a flexible approach and ability to take ownership, you can use your own judgement and initiative.As our Semi-Skilled Construction Operative, youll be willing to assist and support other trades, such as roofers, bricklayers, joiners, as and when required. Youll have a current full UK driving licence and sound knowledge of building construction, components, building trades and site operations.
