Job Description

Experienced Sales Executive required for a new, permanent role in Durham. This is a full-time, permanent role.The RoleBased in an office on the outskirts of Durham City, you will support the Business Development Manager in promoting the company’s products and services, generating leads and building relationships. Working to sales targets and following a daily plan of whereto direct your sales activity - existing and potential customers, you will develop and implement a territory action plan using comprehensive data analysis and adjust sales techniques according to interactions and results in the field.Duties:

  • Maintain working relationships with existing clients to ensure that they receive exceptional service and to identify potential new sales opportunities.
  • Identify prospects, set appointments, make effective qualifying sales calls, and manage sales cycle to close new business in all service categories.
  • Possess in-depth product knowledge and be able to conduct demos and handle objections.
  • Prepare and deliver concise and accurate reports, proposals, and other required documentation.
  • Achieve sales goals by assessing current client needs and following a defined selling process with potential buyers, often including product demos and presentations.
  • Coordinate with the sales business development manager to ensure that the quotas are being met and company standards are being upheld.
  • Sales admin and handling of information - completion of PQQ’s, use of CRM system, receiving and acknowledging enquiries, contact with manufacturers gaining fixed specifications.
  • Completing customer satisfaction surveys.
  • Marketing support via social media input, website input, marketing strategies etc.

Additionally, applicants will have a proved track record of excelling in generating leads, building relationships, and closing deals. The idealcandidate will be a quick learner who has strong negotiating skills and an ability to showcase products in a compelling way. The sales representative must be both personable and professional and would be office based.
