JOB AD:Principle/Senior Process Engineer - Dry Etch Team Full sponsorship available for the right candidate Highly competitive salary, plus fantastic benefits on offer Middlesbrough with Flexible workingMicroTECH Global has partnered with a rapidly growing semiconductor company, they are looking to hire a Process Engineer across a range of levels who have a strong experience of wet processing in high-technology thin-film manufacturing who can support anddevelop these process routes.The successful candidate will have had some experience in Dry Etch processing for semiconductor circuit manufacture - within an industry or university setting. The ideal candidate will hold a minimum degree level qualification in an Engineering or Sciencebased discipline and some experience within the industry.Key responsibilities:Work with other Senior Dry Etch engineers to sustain and develop Dry Etch processes for metals and metal oxidesTroubleshoot and resolve typical processing issues within Dry Etch systemsLiaise with tool suppliers and customers where requiredProvide technical etch process support to Operations and Maintenance teamsDevelop and put into practice suitable SPC for the PVD sputtering processesProvide technical etching process assistance to a 24/7 manufacturing environmentTo be considered for this position you will have the following:Preferably some Engineering experience in a Semiconductor Manufacturing environmentDeep knowledge of the use of acid etching and photoresist stripping to produce clean micro-patterned surfacesHad exposure to a variety of Dry Etch systems or techniques and be able to identify pros/cons of eachKnowledge of data analysis techniques and tools, such as SQL, Excel, SAS-LMP, MATLab, MinitabTrack record of devising and developing micro-fabrication processesStrong knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC)
