They are seeking a Materials Manager on a temporary basis to support their teamThe Role: Oversee analysis of customer schedules to identify demand and potential constraints. Strategically manage the coordination of material supply into the plant in order to support manufacturing build. Oversee the storage and supply of materials within the plant to support the facilitation of daily production and maintain housekeeping standards. Ensure the integrity of BOM data Ensure stock accuracy Facilitate the timing of engineering level change to ensure maximum traceability and minimum stock loss. Ensure that suppliers are managed and developed to meet the requirements of the products and service in order to ensure the most effective ongoing service is provided with existing and new product information. On a daily basis, communicate with the Operations team in order to inform them of current quality concerns, goals and targets. This is to ensure a multifunctional team approach in relation to problem resolution and continuous improvement.
