Job Description

We are looking for a Lift Technician to join our well-established Gateshead Branch. The successful candidate will be working across the North EastAs a Lift Technician, you will provide senior-level technical product and engineering expertise in the maintenance, refurbishment and repair of industrial lifts and associated equipment. You will use your knowledge and expertise to complete technical assessments;determining any faults to provide resolution, along with process and cost reporting. We offer our employees an attractive benefits package and the opportunity to develop their career.Our ideal candidate would have extensive lift engineering experience and be qualified with an NVQ level 3 or 4 in Lift Engineering or equivalent. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to develop and complete and NVQ Level 4.Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring site safety, quality, compliance with specification and measuring performance of field-based engineers and sub-contractors.
  • Manage site technical queries.
  • Liaising with clients’ representatives as and when required.
  • Carrying out site surveys/dilapidation and technical reports
  • Carry out thorough examinations as required by LOLER.
  • Assist with commissioning of refurbished lifts.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working as a Lift Technician/tester or extensive experience as a Lift Engineer.
  • Qualified to a minimum of NVQ Level 3 or 4 in Lift Engineering or equivalent.
  • Full driving licence
