Job Description

Junior Geologist - DurhamStarting Salary: £24,000 - £25,000This is an exciting opportunity for a Junior Geologist to join an expanding geotechnical and environmental ground engineering contractor in their Durham office.No previous experience is required for this junior geologist role. All you need is a degree in geology/geoscience/earth science and a full UK drivers licence!This junior geologist role offers:

  • Full training from senior engineers

The main duties of this junior geologist role include, but not be limited to:
  • Site investigation work (borehole drilling, soil/rock logging/trial pitting)
  • Phase 1 desk studies
  • Site supervision
  • Client liaison
  • Factual report writing
  • Risk assessments
