Job Description

An experienced HR and OD professional with specific expertise in managing organisational change programmes is required to assist my client on a fixed term basis until the end of March 2024. Although not guaranteed, there is potential the role will be furtherextended. Based in their Durham head office the responsibilities will be as follows:

  • Provide HR direction and support to key stakeholders and employees.
  • Effectively plan and implement a variety of organisational development initiatives including restructures and redundancies.
  • Project manage complex projects across the organisation with a focus on organisational change, engagement and well-being.
  • Manage a small HR team to deliver an effective and efficient HR service.
  • Support and coach stakeholders in all change activities and workforce planning.
  • Be responsible for delivering both individual and group consultations during periods of change.
  • Be the subject matter expert in relation to complex Employee Relations cases.
  • Lead the review, development and implementation of wide-ranging People policies to promote a positive culture and engagement.
  • Prepare and communicate relevant Management Information.
  • Lead on Employee Engagement and Employee Wellbeing initiatives.
The successful candidate will be an experienced HR and OD professional having operated at the HR Manager/ Head of HR level who can flexibly manage both strategic and operational objectives. You will be an effective project manager and able to deliver requiredchange in an effective and positive way in set timescales.
