Excellent role on offer for an experienced HGV Technician looking to work for a world renowned, market leading distribution company where you will work within a close knit team and have an opportunity to progress your career.Do you have experience of servicing and repairing HGVs or similar vehicles Are you looking to work for a stable company that have looked after their staff throughout the pandemic, not used furlough and have expanded their site Are you looking to work in a clean working environment working on a range of HGVsThis company is the world largest express transportation / Distribution Company providing fast reliable services to more than 220 countries. Due to ongoing business growth and expansion they are looking to recruit a HGV Technician to work in their busy vehicle maintenance depot.You will be required to service and repair the companys fleet of heavy goods vehicles which range from DAFs, Ivecos, MAN and Mercedes in line with planned maintenance schedules as well as preparing vehicles for annual MOT testing such as investigating and rectifying vehicle defects.This role would ideally suit an experienced HGV Technician or Ex Forces Mechanic that is looking to join a stable, well established company whilst being well looked after by a world renowned blue chip organisation.Ex-Forces personnel with experience of HGV are encouraged to apply for this role.The Role;* Service and repair of a range of the companys fleet of HGVs* Investigate and rectify vehicle defects* Work in line with planned maintenance schedules* Working in a close knit team who have all been there years* Working 14:00pm - 22:30pm, Monday to Friday* £35,000 per annum + Overtime + BenefitsThe Person;* HGV Technician / Workshop Engineer* Ideally have a class 1 license* Experience of working on 7.5 tonne vehicles * Must have an excellent work ethic* Must have good communication skills* Must be looking for a long term career Required skills
