Your work will directly contribute to safeguarding lives and assets, leaving a lasting positive impact on the communities we serve.Role Highlights:As a key team member, your role will involve visiting client premises for the service, maintenance, and installation of Fire Detection and Alarm Systems, Emergency Lighting, Nurse Call Systems, and potentially security systems and access control. While experiencein additional areas such as Intruder Security Systems, Disabled Refuge, Automatic Opening Smoke Vent Systems, and CCTV systems is desirable, its not essential.Responsibilities:

  • Install and commission fire and security systems.
  • Conduct planned maintenance, including repairs, fault-finding, and installation tasks.
  • Maintain accurate and high-standard company documentation.
  • Build strong customer relationships through effective communication.
  • Perform surveys on client premises to ensure optimal system configurations.
  • Respond to reactive calls for fault-finding and repairs, including on-call rota duties.
  • Utilize system software for estimating minor follow-on works.
  • Provide Fire Alarm System Certification for Customers.
Candidate Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in fire alarm maintenance and small works.
  • Comprehensive experience in all aspects of the fire alarm industry, including Design/Installation and Commission.
  • Proficiency in servicing both open and managed protocol fire alarm systems.
  • Certification in FIA for various aspects of fire detection and alarm system processes.
  • Conversant with BAFE and SSAIB/NSI requirements.
  • ECS/CSCS certification with a good knowledge of Health & Safety requirements.
  • Positive security screening and clean disclosure report.
  • Excellent communication skills, timekeeping, and customer service focus.
  • Sound electrical/electronic knowledge.
  • Willingness to travel.
  • Full, valid driving license.
