Our Corporate Services Unit is the backbone of our operations, encompassing HR, Finance, IT, Marketing, Quality, MIS, and Health & Safety.Position Overview: We are excited to welcome an experienced and dedicated Finance Service Team Leader to join our finance team based at our Bowburn office in Durham. This opportunity is ideal for a senior finance officer or an ambitiousfinance professional looking to advance their career and play a pivotal role in ensuring Humankinds financial stability and success.What you will be doing:

  • Manage and lead a team of 2/3 finance professionals
  • Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including bank reconciliation, accounts payable, expenses, and credit card receipts
  • Utilize your expertise in various finance systems
  • Handle project work related to finance and contribute to process improvements
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies
  • Collaborate with different departments to provide financial support and guidance
About you:
  • AAT Level 3/4 qualification or qualified by experience
  • Extensive experience in a finance role, with proficiency in bank reconciliation, accounts payable, expenses, and credit card receipts
  • Strong knowledge of various finance systems
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
  • Previous experience managing a team
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
