The Company you will be working for;Our client is an established and highly successful company based in County Durham. They are currently looking for a Finance Officer to join their team on a permanent basis. If you are interested and meet the person specification of the job role, please applybelow.The Role you will be doing;
  • Responsible for the monthly and year-end balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Assisting with the preparations of weekly reports for senior management.
  • Assisting with the preparation of the forecast submissions for senior management.
  • Ensuring the purchases ledger and payroll department hit the relevant deadlines in the absence of the FC.
  • Ensuring all the relevant tasks have been performed by all departments in the absence of the FC.
  • Ensuring the information provided from the difference location is accurate.
  • Reviewing Open accounts and discrepancies are reviewed and highlighted to senior manager.
  • Prepayments and Accruals.
  • Training of new staff members and ensure any issues are highlighted to the FC.
  • Sales Invoices for tenants and ensure the relevant debt letters are issued and chased with in the correct time frame.
  • Ensure you are aware off all other job roles with-in the business to assist with tasks as and when they need covering.
  • Online Ordering.
  • Dealing with any queries which may accrue whilst the FC isn’t available.
  • Any other tasks as and when required by the financial controller.
About you;
  • You must have experience using Opera/Oracle.
  • You must have had experience within a similar Senior Financial Role.
  • Effective communicator who can coach and develop financial understanding to other areas of the business.
  • Ability to work to meet strict deadlines and exceed under pressure.
  • Experience of delivering work process improvements throughout the business.
